What Shapes the Price of a System
No two homes need quite the same setup, which is why we quote after testing rather than from a chart. A handful of things move the number. Here is what we look at and why.
Every quote follows a free water test, and we walk you through installed system pricing by phone before any work is scheduled. There is no obligation to go ahead.
- Your hardness and test results
- Harder water calls for more softening capacity. Chlorine, sediment or other readings may point toward added filtration stages.
- Type of system
- A single reverse osmosis unit under the kitchen sink is a smaller job than a whole-home filter paired with a softener at the main line.
- Where the equipment goes
- Some homes already have a softener loop and a drain nearby. Others need new plumbing run to a garage or utility space, plus a drain and an outlet for the control valve.
- Removing older equipment
- If an aging softener or filter is already in place, we account for disconnecting and hauling it away and for any worn fittings we find behind it.
- Media and component choices
- Tank size, valve type and filter media all vary. We explain the tradeoffs in plain terms, including which options cost a little more now and less to run later.
Water Treatment for Your Home
Most of what we install falls into four areas. Water testing comes first and tells us what is actually in your tap water. From there, water softeners deal with hardness and scale, whole-home filtration handles taste, odor and chlorine at every faucet, and reverse osmosis gives you a dedicated tap of very clean water for drinking and cooking.

Whole-Home Filtration
A filter at your main line that cuts chlorine taste and odor at every faucet and shower, sized so your water pressure stays where it should be.

Water Softeners
A softener sized from your own test results, set to regenerate only when needed, to keep scale out of your water heater, fixtures and glass.

Reverse Osmosis
An under-sink reverse osmosis system that gives your kitchen clean, crisp drinking and cooking water, fitted after a free test of your water.

Water Testing
We test the water at your tap for hardness, dissolved solids, chlorine and pH, then explain each number before any equipment is discussed.
What Happens After You Phone Us
Each stage is short, and we tell you what to expect before it begins.
- 1
A short phone conversation
You tell us what you are noticing: spotted glass, scale on fixtures, a chlorine smell, or just curiosity. We arrange a time for your free water test.
- 2
The water test
We draw a sample from one of your faucets, run the readings in front of you, and check the spot where equipment would most likely sit, including the nearest drain and outlet.
- 3
A clear recommendation
We explain what the results mean, which system fits, and what it will cost installed and to run. Sometimes the honest answer is a smaller system than you expected.
- 4
Installation day
We protect the floor and work area, plumb the system in, set the control valve for your hardness and household, then flush and check every connection for leaks.
- 5
Walkthrough and cleanup
Before we leave, we show you how to add salt, change filters and read the valve display. Packaging and old parts leave with us, and the work area is cleaned completely.

A Small Company That Takes Its Time
We focus on one thing: treating the water that comes into homes around Paradise Valley. Softeners, whole-home filters, reverse osmosis and testing are the whole of our work, which lets us know the equipment well and explain it without sales pressure.
Hard water leaves scale inside water heaters, on shower glass and in fixtures. A layer of mineral on a heating element makes it work harder to heat the same water, so treating hardness can help your water heater run more efficiently and last longer. We say that only where your test supports it.
We would rather install a system once and have it run quietly for years than sell more equipment than your home needs.
- License
- Installs done by licensed and insured partner plumbers
- Warranty
- 5-year warranty on installation and labor

How We Work in Your Home
A water system sits in your home for many years, so we treat the choice and the installation with patience. These are the habits that shape every job.
A test before any recommendation
We measure hardness and the other readings that matter before we suggest equipment. If your water does not need a softener, we tell you so.
Systems sized to your household
A softener that is too small regenerates constantly and wastes salt and water. One that is too large costs more than it should. We size the unit to your hardness reading and how many people live in your home.
Running costs considered up front
We explain what each system uses over a year: salt, filter cartridges, membranes, rinse water and electricity. You see the ongoing cost before you commit, not after.
Careful, finished workmanship
Fittings are squared and supported, drain lines are secured, and the area around the equipment is protected while we work. When we leave, the space looks deliberate and clean.
Installation included
Installation comes with our water treatment systems. The installed figure you hear on the phone already accounts for the labor, fittings and connections, so there is no separate install bill later.
What Paradise Valley Homeowners Want to Know
Does my house actually need a water softener?
Your own reading answers that. Hard water is widespread here, but we go by your test and the issues you see at home, like scale or spots. When the numbers don't call for a softener, we point you to something else or tell you to leave your water alone.
Do you charge anything for the water test?
No. The test costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You get the results with a plain explanation, and the choice stays yours.
Will treated water cut what I spend on energy?
It can make a difference, and we won't oversell it. Scale inside a water heater acts as a barrier between the burner or element and the water, so the heater runs longer each cycle. Softened water stops that layer from forming, keeping the heater efficient and sparing other appliances that heat water.
How does a softener differ from a whole-home filter?
A softener pulls out calcium and magnesium, the minerals behind hardness and scale. A whole-home filter, most often carbon, takes out chlorine taste and smell along with some other contaminants. Plenty of homes need only one; some are better off with both.
I have a softener already. Why would I want reverse osmosis?
Softened water isn't purified drinking water. An under-sink reverse osmosis system sends water through a very fine membrane that strips out dissolved solids, so you have clean water for drinking, coffee and cooking and can stop buying bottles.
Does the price include installation?
It does. Our water treatment systems come with installation. The figure we give you by phone covers the equipment put in and working, not just the unit.
How are the tanks covered?
Tanks on qualifying systems carry a lifetime warranty. When we go over your choices, we tell you which models qualify so you can compare that with price and size.
What maintenance should I expect?
A softener needs salt topped up from time to time, and filters and membranes get changed on a schedule set by your water and how much you use. Before we go, we show you each task and how often to do it.
Start With a Look at Your Water
A free water test tells you what is in your tap and whether any system is worth installing. We will explain the results plainly and give you installed pricing if you want it.
